Don't Quit
When the road you're truding seems all uphill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't quit.
Life is queer with it's twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
So stick to the fight when you hardest hit,
It's when things seem worse, that you must not quit

The Gift Of Friendship (poem)
That cannot be bought or sold.
But it's values is far greater than
A mountian made of gold.
For gold is cold and lifeless
It can neithr see nor hear
And in the time of trouble it
Is powerless to cheer
It has no ears to listen
No heart to undertand
It cannot bring you comfort
Or reach out a helping hand.
So when you ask God for a gift
be thankful if He sends, not
Diamonds, pearls or riches
But the love of real
true friends.

I am the above named person from BAHRAIN. I am married to Mr. Clement wast who worked with Bahrain embassy here in TOGO- LOME for nine years before he died in the year 2007.

It's hard raising a 17 year old. I wished she would have came with an instruction manual tied on to her little foot when she was born. haha...
Above all, God substains us. How how you been feeling these days? I hope we can keep in touch more since I don't work alot of hours now and I'm always playing on the computer.
I enjoyed your poems and I hope that I will be inspired to write again very soon.

You would not believe how much Prattville and the area around has changed. If you come through some time, come see me at Grace Place Pregnancy Center. We are doing God's work here and seeing Him move mightily. We started the week not being able to make payroll, and have been blessed by being able to pay all our bills for the month. It is exciting to see how He works in people's hearts.
