Last Harvest Fellowship

Last Harvest Fellowship - a global church without walls

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church or a home.

The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way or do certain things. We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string that we have, and that's our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

Are we in charge of our attitudes?

Yes and amen, love covers a multitude of sin. I have always contended that if the church was more like the church should be, there would be no condemnation and self-righteousness, but love, mercy, grace and thanksgiving for all that Jesus Christ has done and is doing in our day by day rubber meets the road lives.

May the Lord raise up an army of dedicated believers who will lay down their guantlets of "being someone else's 'holy spirit' " Because when we do that we become in most cases a very unholy spirit.

Bless each of you this week. Hope the Bible studies are blessing you.

Wow very good. I think you are right, too many times have I said to someone will the bible say's this. Not thinking how this would effect them, I thought many times I should have or could have been a little more loving about how I responded to them. Also I go downtown to feed the homeless folks and they react so much better to a postive loving attitude rather that an attitude of condiming them for there addictions and problems. They react so much better to an attitude of love and grace and mercy. Rather than the old God helps those who helps them selves attitude.
